![]() Fourth was in Sonic and Shadow's final duel, and fifth was to save the world from the collision of Finalhazard and the Space Colony ARK. The second time was to (very reluctantly) save Rouge the Bat from the Prison Island base, and the third was when Sonic used Chaos Control to escape from the falling capsule. The first was during Shadow's meeting with Sonic (where the Ultimate Lifeform used it twice). The interdimensional Chaos Control explosion in Enter the Supersonic Hero!Ĭhaos Control was first used in Sonic Adventure 2, with five instances in that game. Knuckles and Tikal's manipulation of the Master Emerald may be analogous to Chaos Control, as might Blaze's abilities using the Sol Emeralds. Media:SonicAdvance3 GBA US manual.pdf Also, in Sonic and the Black Knight, Shadow's Arthurian counterpart Sir Lancelot uses a Soul Surge which is very similar to Chaos Control, although no Emeralds seem to exist in the Grand Kingdom. Eggman also harnesses the power of the Emeralds using machines, with his splitting of the world in Sonic Advance 3 specifically referred to in the manual as Chaos Control. Silver opened a portal to the past using Chaos Control during a fight with Shadow in a brash attempt to use the technique against him.ĭr.Black Doom uses a seven-emerald Chaos Control to warp the Black Comet through the atmosphere of Sonic's world near the end of Shadow the Hedgehog.Metal Sonic (as Metal Overlord) in Sonic Heroes used Chaos Control to stop time during the final battle with Super Sonic, an ability he gained as a result of copying Sonic's and Shadow's life data.Sonic can also use Chaos Control, first inducing it with a fake Chaos Emerald to save his life, although he uses the ability reluctantly and only when necessary. In Sonic Heroes, Chaos Control's time-freezing ability is Shadow's component of Team Dark's Team Blast, " Chaos Inferno". Shadow the Hedgehog was the first seen to use it, and it has since become his signature technique.3 Hero technique in Shadow the Hedgehogįive characters are confirmed to have the ability to use Chaos Control:.I believe Sonic is one of the only creatures that could achieve something like this. Sonic simply desires a big, wide place he can stretch his legs, whether home or Earth.Įrgo, I truly do suspect that Super Sonic intentionally or unintentionally summoned all the parts of his own world that transported over during Part II to Earth, as he has duties, but he is even more loyal of a friend. If Chris tells Sonic to stay, he'll stay - no qualms. Sonic, I think, realizes this when Chris kidnaps him, and even obliges Chris' wishes with absolutely zero hesitation, so honestly in fact that Chris even questions if Sonic's friendship is genuine or simply out of some sort of feeling of indebtedness for Chris having saved his life (Episode 1). He is a 10-year-old boy who, although well-provided for and surely loved dearly by both his parents, not only never had close friends, but never had the company of his busy parents.Īdd on that the very sudden and shocking reality of your best friend ever having to leave forever and that's enough pressure to make anyone snap, especially at such a young age. Quick refresher: we learn (via Chuck, who rightfully scolds both of Chris' underinvolved, career-concerned parents) that Chris' reason for kidnapping Sonic after he sabotaged Chuck and Tails' operation to return them home is not necessarily as simple as Chris throwing a temper tantrum that can be quickly patched up with bribes, and more so due to the implications of what Sonic leaving means for the child. ![]() Watch it tell me what you think! After all, Chris reeaaallly, REALLY wanted Sonic to stay, and consciously or subconsciously, I suspect Sonic obliged his wishes, especially given the way Part II of the series (where the worlds' timelines risk colliding and time collapsing on itself) culminates. You'll need to watch the tail-end of Episode 52 of Sonic X, and possibly the English dub, at that, but rewatching it, I wonder the reason that, instead of Sonic and his friends returning home to their world, elements (and people) of his world transported to Earth may have been due to Chris' wish for Sonic to remain on Earth.
